We've been based out of Fort 201 30 G for quite some time now. Most days it’s just us surrounded by stacks of shipping documents and folders that seem to multiply when we aren't looking. If you’ve ever walked around this part of town, you know how busy it gets. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or coffee machines that do anything special. It’s just a plain office where we handle the logistics stuff. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but honestly, we’re too busy keeping track of cargo to worry about the decor. Jmd Global Forwarders Inc is really just a group of people who know how to navigate the mess of moving freight. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a delay at the port that nobody saw coming. We spend a lot of time on the phone, chasing down updates and making sure the paperwork matches up with what’s actually in the containers. It isn't glamorous work by any stretch, but it’s what we know how to do. You’ll usually find us here from early morning, trying to get ahead of the emails before the phones start ringing off the hook. We’ve learned that in this business, things rarely go exactly as planned, so you just have to be ready to fix whatever comes up. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without making a big fuss about it.
