Jindal Cocoa (A Division Of Jindal Drugs Ltd)

Jindal Cocoa is a part of Jindal Drugs Ltd and you can find us at Bakhtawar, on the 6th floor, units B and C. That's at 229 Nariman Point. Being up on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view, but we are mostly looking at spreadsheets and cocoa prices. We deal with the cocoa side of things. It’s a lot of coordination with suppliers and making sure the quality is what it should be. Nariman Point is always fast-paced. Everyone is in a suit and moving fast. Our office is a bit more relaxed than the ones downstairs. We have samples of cocoa around, which makes the place smell better than most offices. We spend a lot of time on calls or in meetings about shipping dates and warehouse stocks. It’s a lot of logistics. Cocoa isn’t the easiest thing to manage because it depends on the weather and the harvest. We just stay on top of the details. The building, Bakhtawar, is one of those classic Nariman Point spots. We’ve been here long enough that the lift operators know us. It’s a good place to work, even if the traffic in South Mumbai is a nightmare in the evenings. We just get through the day's tasks and prepare for the next. The work keeps us busy and the cocoa trade never really stops moving.
