Jeysons Industries

Jeysons Industries is tucked away in the Charkop Government Industrial Estate in Kandivli West. We’re at 4(D), which is easy to find once you get inside the gates. It’s an old-school industrial area, lots of metalwork and manufacturing sounds all day long. We do a lot of fabrication and industrial parts. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, which is just part of the job. We have a small crew, mostly guys who have been doing this for years and don't need much direction. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just take the drawings people bring in and see if we can make them. Sometimes it’s a simple bracket, other times it’s more complicated parts for machinery. We use the machines we’ve had for a while because they still run fine and do the job. Kandivli has changed a lot with all the new buildings, but this industrial estate feels the same as it did a decade ago. It’s a bit crowded with parked tempos and raw material stacks, but we manage. We don't make big promises, we just tell you when the job will be done. Usually, we're here early to beat the Mumbai heat. It's dusty and noisy, but it's where we work and we’re used to the pace. We just keep our heads down and finish the batches as they come in, one by one, every single day.
