We are associated with the Jewel Of India over at the Nehru Centre in Worli, but our actual workspace is located at 5/5 B.D.D Chawl on N.M. Joshi Marg. That’s in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know the chawls are a big part of the history here. It’s a very grounded and busy place to be. We’ve been based in this specific spot for a long time. It’s not a fancy glass office like some of the new buildings popping up around Parel. Instead, it’s a real, lived-in space where we get our work done. There’s always noise from the street and people moving about, which keeps us on our toes. We handle the background stuff for the business from here. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the paperwork and people, but we are used to it. We don't put on any acts or try to seem bigger than we are. We just work hard in our corner of the city. The commute can be a lot, especially with the trains and the traffic on N.M. Joshi Marg, but we show up every day. It’s a simple, honest setup. We don't have any corporate jargon to offer. We just do the tasks that need doing to keep things running. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have our fans and we just keep at it. Most of the people around here have been our neighbors for years, so it feels like a community.
