JDM Studios

JDM Studios is located at 14, Navjivan Commercial Premises on Sakivihar Road. We are in Andheri East, which is a really busy part of Mumbai. To find us, you just look for the Picknic Hotel or the Ansa H Industrial Estate, as we are right opposite that. It’s a typical commercial area with lots of small companies and workshops. Our space is where all the creative work happens. It’s usually a bit cluttered with equipment and papers, but that’s just how we work. We aren't the type to have a perfectly clean, sterile office. There is always something going on here. The traffic on Sakivihar Road can be a nightmare, so we usually try to time our arrivals and departures to avoid the worst of it. We spend a lot of time collaborating on different things. It’s a small team, and we’ve all become good friends over time. Sometimes we grab a quick meal at one of the stalls nearby. The building itself has been around for a while. It’s got that old Mumbai commercial vibe. We don't really have any big formal meetings. Most of our talking happens while we are actually working. It’s an honest way to run a studio. We just keep our heads down and try to produce stuff we are okay with. It's not always perfect, but we put in the time and effort every single day.
