JDAP Design Architecture Planning

JDAP Design Architecture Planning operates out of the Creative Industries Estate in Santacruz East. Our office is in unit 101 on Road No 2, not far from the Bandra Kurla Complex. It is a busy industrial area, so there is always something going on nearby. The office feels more like a workshop than a studio most days. We have physical models of buildings on the tables and big rolls of paper tucked into every corner. Our work is a mix of architecture and planning. We don't just think about the appearance of a building. We focus on how it actually works for the people inside. We spend a lot of time thinking about movement and light. Sunder Nagar is a good location because it lets us get to various parts of Mumbai fairly quickly. We are not the type of people to use a lot of fancy marketing speak. We just show up and put in the hours. It involves a lot of sitting around a wooden table and debating the best way to use a piece of land. Sometimes we have long discussions about the placement of a door or a staircase. That is just how we work. We have handled all sorts of scales, from small rooms to much larger developments. It is all about the little things for us. We keep working until it feels right.
