Jck Jewels Pvt. Ltd. is situated at Plot No. A/35 on Okay Industries Street 2. This is right in the MIDC section of Andheri East, so it is a very industrial setting for the kind of work we do every day. The building does not look like much from the outside, just another grey structure in a long line of them. But inside, we have everything set up for our daily operations. The lighting is kept very bright because we need to see clearly when we are handling small items. We have several workbenches that are always cluttered with tools and little boxes. The floor is swept every evening, but by noon the next day, it is already got bits of dust on it. We have been at A/35 for a while now and have gotten used to the rhythm of Okay Industries Street 2. The sounds of the neighboring units come through the walls sometimes, mostly just the hum of machines. We have a small kitchenette in the corner where we make coffee and keep our tiffin boxes. It is not a glamorous place, despite what people might think. It is just a workshop where people work hard and stay focused on the tasks at hand. We try to keep the windows closed to keep the street noise out, but it is never completely quiet. Most of us have been working together for a long time.
