Our office is at 7/4 in Taldhwaj Bhawan, which is located on the 3rd Panjarapol Lane. It’s one of those narrow streets where you have to be careful how you park. Jayshree Metals & Engg.Co. has been here for years, and we’ve gotten to know all the neighbors. We deal mostly in metal parts and engineering supplies. It is a small space, packed with shelves and ledgers. We still use a lot of paper for our records because it’s just easier for us to track things that way. There are usually three or four of us in here at any given time, talking to customers or checking prices on the phone. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s our workplace and we like it. We don't go in for big advertisements. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this lane for decades. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, but we just put some planks down and keep going. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. The fans are always humming in the background. We just try to keep the stock organized so we can find what a customer needs without making them wait too long. It is just a regular local business doing what we know best. We don't have a big corporate story to tell, just the daily work of selling metal.
