Our place is at 440 Kaliandas Udyog Bhavan, which is right near Century Bazar in Worli. Being in an industrial estate means there is always something going on around us. You can hear machines humming and trucks backing up all day long. We deal with plastics, which means our workshop has that specific smell of raw materials and heat. It’s a solid, old building and we’ve made our home here for a good while. The space is mostly taken up by our equipment and the finished products waiting to be moved. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. It’s more about making sure the machines are running right and the orders are getting processed. Worli is a busy part of the city, and being near Century Bazar makes it easy for people to find us, though parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a long time, and we just get on with the work. It’s not a complicated setup. We take the raw plastic, do what needs to be done, and send it out. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when a machine breaks down or a delivery is late, but that’s just how it goes. We take things as they come and try to keep the workflow steady. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a very busy city.
