Working out of Jayco Safety Product Pvt. Ltd. at 125, Neha Industrial Estate is always a busy experience. Dattapada Road is constantly packed with trucks, especially since we are right opposite Tata Steel Ltd. in Borivali (E). The noise from the industrial area is something you just learn to ignore after a while. Most of our day is spent moving heavy inventory around the warehouse floor. It’s a dusty place, and the walls have seen better days, but it is where we do our real work. We don't have fancy office furniture or a lobby with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We keep our coffee mugs on our desks and focus on the orders that need to go out by evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in while talking about the local cricket scores. It’s a practical environment. We aren't here to look pretty or impress people with marketing talk. We just handle the safety products and make sure the paperwork is mostly correct. It’s a lot of manual labor and tracking shipments, but that’s how an industrial business works. Being in Borivali means a long commute for some of us, but this estate has been our home for a long time now.
