Jay Compu Stationeries

We are over at Shop No 6 in Building No 318. This is Dadar East on Saraswathi Ammal Street. If you go behind Sanjeevani Hospital you will run right into us. The shop is called Jay Compu Stationeries and it is basically a room full of paper, ink, and pens. It is a bit tight inside because we try to stock everything from printer cartridges to notebooks. Sometimes the delivery guys leave boxes in the way and we have to step over them to get to the counter. It is a local place and we see a lot of students and office workers who need supplies in a hurry. I usually spend my time cleaning the glass shelves or checking the inventory on the computer. It is not a high-tech operation despite the name. We just like having what people need when they walk in. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the hospital or the station. We have a small window that lets in some light but mostly it is the fluorescent tubes overhead. My hands usually have a bit of ink on them by the end of the day from testing pens or changing ribbons. We have been in Dadar for years and we know most of the people on this block. It is just a steady life of selling paper and helping people get their printing done. No big frills here, just a simple neighborhood shop.
