Javed Impex

You can find Javed Impex over at No. 63 on Mutton Street. It is a very busy area, always filled with the sounds of carts rattling and people shouting to get past. We’ve been operating out of this small spot for a long time. It’s not a large office, just enough room for the essentials and the stock we handle. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking through piles of invoices. Since we deal with imports and exports, there’s always something stuck at a port or a delivery that’s running late. That’s just the nature of the business. We don't have any fancy displays or a showroom. It’s a practical space where we get the work done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to think about that. We know the regular couriers by name, and they know where to leave the packages when we’re busy. Mutton Street has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a trade business run by people who have been doing this for a long time. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic, especially during the festive seasons, but we usually find a way to stay on top of things. It’s simple work, really. There’s always another shipment to track and another client to call back before the sun goes down. We just keep at it every single day.
