We've been at Vedant 1 in the P&T Colony for a while now. Jardine Shipping Services(India)Pvt.Ltd is just a group of us working out of this spot in Gandhi Nagar, Dombivili(East). It’s not a huge fancy office, just number 605, but it works for what we do. Shipping is a lot of paperwork and tracking stuff down, so being here makes sense for the team. Most of us live nearby, which helps with the commute because getting around this part of town can be a real headache some days. We handle the usual shipping tasks that come through our doors. It’s mostly about making sure boxes and containers get where they need to go without getting stuck somewhere. We don't really do the big speeches or flashy ads. Usually, the phone rings, we talk to someone about a shipment, and we try to sort it out. The building itself is a co-op housing society, so it's got a different feel than those glass towers in the city. You’ll find us on the sixth floor. People know us around the colony. It’s a busy job, especially when the schedules get messed up or the weather turns bad, but we just keep at it day by day. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just focus on the work at hand and hope the traffic isn't too bad when it's time to go home. We like the neighborhood even if it gets a bit noisy sometimes.
