Khalakya Lime Traders

We are situated in Madina Manjil, right on the ground floor on Bapu Khote Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how narrow and crowded the streets can get. It’s a very old area with a lot of history, and the building we are in has that classic feel to it. We deal in lime and related materials, so there’s often a bit of white dust around the place. Our shop is number 32/34, and it’s basically a storage area and a small space for us to sit and handle the paperwork. Throughout the day, we have people coming in to talk about their requirements or to pick up bags of material. The space is a bit dark because the buildings are so close together, but we have some lights to help us see what we’re doing. It’s always noisy outside with the sounds of carts, motorcycles, and people shouting to each other across the street. We’ve grown accustomed to the chaos of Bapu Khote Street. Sometimes deliveries can be a real struggle because there’s hardly any room for a big vehicle to park nearby, so we have to do a lot of manual carrying. It’s a busy, dusty, and loud environment, but it’s where we’ve been for years. We just focus on our trading and making sure the stock is ready for whoever needs it next. It is a simple life in a very busy market.
