Jain Power Plast

You can find us at E-2 in the Vivek Industrial Estate on Walbhat Road. We are Jain Power Plast. Being in Goregaon East means we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity. Our space is mostly taken up by plastic molding machines and stacks of finished goods. It gets pretty warm in here during the summer months, but that is just the nature of working with plastics. We make a variety of plastic items that people use every day, though they might not think about where they come from. The estate is always loud with trucks and other businesses doing their thing. We try to keep our corner organized, but it’s hard when you have a lot of raw material coming in. Most of the guys here have been working these machines for a long time. We aren’t a huge team, so everyone knows how to do a bit of everything. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the molds. If something isn't right, we fix it and start over. It’s a practical business. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big marketing team. We just make the products and send them out. Jain Power Plast has been in this unit for quite a few years. We’ve seen other shops in Vivek Industrial Estate come and go. We have a small table in the corner where we eat lunch. It’s just a normal way to spend the day.
