Jaimax Switchgears

Jaimax Switchgears is tucked away at Door 11-B in the Janata Compound. We are right opposite Phoenix Mills on S.B. Marg. Lower Parel has changed so much around us. You see these big shiny malls and towers everywhere now, but our compound still feels like the old days. It’s a bit cramped and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s home for us. We handle switchgears and electrical parts all day. There is always the sound of metal clicking or someone moving heavy boxes around. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the paperwork. It gets messy sometimes. Customers come in off S.B. Marg looking for specific parts. We know our stock pretty well. We don't have a website that does everything for us; we just talk to people. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back shelves to find an older component. It’s a bit dusty back there. We’ve got a small window that looks out toward the mill area, though you can't see much through the grime. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s just a local shop vibe. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy showroom. We just provide what people need for their electrical setups. It’s been this way for years and we don’t see much reason to change it.
