Our office is located in Milan Nagar, right near the Ashok Anil Multiplex. We are situated just behind the Bharti Cold Drink House, which is a busy area along the Kalyan Ambernath Road. Since we are road builders, our days are filled with thoughts of asphalt, machinery, and schedules. The Ulhasnagar office is our main hub for storing gear and keeping our books in order. It stays a little dusty because of the nature of the business, but we are used to it. You can hear the constant flow of traffic from the road all day long. A small crew stays here to handle the payroll and the scheduling for the different sites. It is a very practical workspace, not somewhere meant for showing off. Maps of the local roads are pinned all over the walls. Most of us have been in the road construction business for many years, so we know the drill. We get the job details, check the weather, and head out. The 421 003 area is where we coordinate everything. When we are not on a site, we are usually here fixing equipment or planning the next phase of a project. We do not have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans on the walls. There is just a list of what needs paving and the deadlines. It is a gritty, loud business, but it suits us just fine. We just take it one day at a time until the roads are finished.
