Shah Tools Centre

Shah Tools Centre is located at No. 89 Nagdevi Street, right inside the Jagdish Building on the 1st floor. If you have ever walked down Nagdevi Street, you know how packed and narrow it gets with all the hardware shops. Our place is up a flight of stairs that are a bit steep, but once you get inside, it’s a whole different world of tools and equipment. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with everything from wrenches to specialized bits. It can get a bit overwhelming for someone who isn't used to seeing so many items in one small space. We know exactly where everything is, though, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. The building is older, and you can feel the history of the street when you are sitting in the shop. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years because they know we are usually around from morning until the street starts to quiet down in the evening. There is always a bit of noise from the street below—horns honking and people shouting—but we are used to it by now. We spend our time checking inventory and making sure we have what people are looking for when they climb up to see us. It’s a tight space, but it’s where we have been doing our thing for a long time now. We don't need much more than our tools and our spot on Nagdevi Street.
