Jainam Fabrics

Jainam Fabrics is located at Shop No. 24, Laxmidas Wadi on S. G. Marg. We are right opposite Shanti Nagar, which is very close to Jacob Circle. The shop is filled from the floor all the way to the ceiling with rolls of different cloth. It is a bit of a maze inside, but I know exactly where every color and pattern is kept on the shelves. We have been here for years, and the area around Jacob Circle is always bustling with people and heavy traffic. Most of our customers are locals who want to see the fabric and feel the material before they decide to buy anything. We do not do any online sales. You have to come in and look at what we have. Sometimes the light in the shop isn't the best for seeing colors, so we take the fabric out to the front door to show it in the sunlight. It is a lot of folding and unfolding rolls of cloth all day long. My back gets a bit sore by the evening, but it is good, steady work. We have cottons, silks, and all kinds of blended fabrics. People come here when they have a wedding or a festival coming up in their family. We just chat with them and help them find what they are looking for. S. G. Marg is a very busy road, so there is always noise outside.
