We have been at 31/D in Laxmi Ind. Estate for quite a while now. It is tucked away just off New Link Road, right before you hit the Clothes Rack Store. It gets pretty busy around this part of Andheri West, but we have managed to make a decent home for ourselves here. Mostly, we spend our time dealing with all sorts of lights and fixtures. Some days are packed with orders and shipping, and other days we are just sorting through inventory or talking to folks who walk in off the street. Since it is an industrial area, there is always some noise and trucks moving things around in the alley. We started small and just kept going as the years went by. The space isn't huge, but we keep everything organized enough to find what is needed. Usually, someone is here by 10 in the morning. We handle a lot of the local deliveries ourselves when we can. It is just a regular place where real work gets done. You see the same faces every day, mostly neighbors from other units in the estate. We don't do anything fancy with the office setup because it just needs to be functional. We have a few desks and a whole lot of boxes stacked up. People know us by the sign out front. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going full blast. It is a solid, honest spot to be.
