You can find J. K. & Sons at 66, Anand Shopping Centre, over on Gaushala Lane near the Diamond Market in Malad East. It’s a busy little corner of the world. Our shop isn't very big, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. Being near the Diamond Market means there’s always people walking around and things happening. We’ve been in this shopping center for years. It’s a bit of a family tradition at this point. My sons are often here helping out or running errands. We don’t have a fancy display window. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for a long time. We do our work at the back, and the front is where we talk to people. It can get a bit cramped when more than two people walk in at once. The light isn't the best in the lane, but we have good lamps on our desks. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth is how we’ve stayed open. We just take things day by day. If a job is hard, we take more time on it. We like the local vibe of Malad East. It’s a lot of work keeping things running, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else because we know everyone here and they know exactly where to find us.
