J A Nagvekar Co is tucked away in Jai Hind Nagar, right on the service road in Khar West. If you’ve ever been stuck in Mumbai traffic on the West side, you might have glanced at our building while driving past. It’s a busy stretch, and there’s always the sound of horns and cars zooming by. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while. Our workspace isn't anything special to look at, just a regular office where we get our work done. We deal with the usual day-to-day business matters. The humidity in Khar can be something else, so we usually have the fans going full blast. Most of our day is spent at our desks, looking through papers or talking to people who drop in. We know the service road like the back of our hands. It’s a convenient location for us, even if it gets a bit loud. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights out front. It’s just J A Nagvekar Co, doing what we do. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the city here. Sometimes we walk down the road to grab a snack from the local vendors. It’s a very ordinary life, running a business in this part of town. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized amidst the chaos of the service road. It takes effort to keep up with the pace but we manage.
