Itl Liningz

Itl Liningz is based right in Churchgate, at 1 Pankaj Mahal. It’s a busy spot, being just off Dinshaw Vachha Road and right across from K.C. College. There are always students walking by and a lot of energy in the air. Our office is a bit more traditional than the modern glass buildings you see further out. We deal with lining materials, which isn't the most glamorous part of the fashion world, but it’s essential. The space is filled with samples and rolls of different fabrics. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we make it work. Being in Churchgate means we are right in the middle of everything. We can hear the trains and the city noise all day long. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique. We just supply the materials that other people use to make their products look good on the inside. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we have a good flow. We know where every sample is kept, even if the shelves look a bit disorganized to an outsider. We take our breaks near the college gates sometimes just to get some air. It’s a good place to work, even if the pace of the city is a bit frantic. We just focus on the orders and getting them out to the tailors. It is a simple operation.
