You’ll find us over at the Bellona building, specifically building number one on 90 Ft Road in Ghatkopar East. We’re in suite B101. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if the traffic isn't too bad, though in this part of Mumbai, that’s a big "if." We do automation work here at Italia Automation Pvt Ltd. It’s mostly technical stuff, dealing with controllers and sensors and things that make machines run by themselves. The office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine; it’s got desks, a few computers, and a lot of boxes stacked in the corner. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at screens. We’ve been in Ghatkopar for a bit and we like the local feel of the neighborhood. There are plenty of good places to grab a quick snack nearby, which helps during the long afternoons. We aren't the type of company that has a long list of fancy values written on the wall. We just try to make sure the automation systems we provide actually do what they’re supposed to do for the people who buy them. It’s a straightforward way to work, and it keeps things simple for everyone involved. Sometimes we stay late when a project is tricky, but usually, we’re just a regular group of people doing a technical job. It's nothing too glamorous, but we enjoy the challenge of making things work automatically.
