I.T. Dept

We are the crew behind the IT department, and if you need us, you usually just send an email to the Yahoo address we use. We don't really have a public walk-in office or a big fancy sign on the street. Most of our day is spent looking at monitors and trying to figure out why a server isn't responding or why someone can't get into their account. It can be a bit lonely sometimes, just sitting in a room with the hum of the cooling fans, but we like the technical challenges. We aren't big on corporate talk or long meetings. We just want to fix the bugs and keep the systems running so everyone else can do their jobs. Sometimes we stay late into the night when there is a big update to push or a problem that just won't go away. We drink a lot of instant coffee and sometimes order food when we can't leave the desk. It’s not the kind of job you do for the glory. It is more about the satisfaction of seeing things work right. We handle a lot of different tasks, from security stuff to making sure the emails are flowing like they should. It is a practical job and we try to be as helpful as we can when things break down. We just keep our heads down and type away until the job is finished.
