International Independent ( Doha, Qatar )

We are based in Malad East, Mumbai, inside the Raheja Township. Our office is Flat B-101 in the Panchsheel II Co-Operative Housing Society. It might seem a bit strange to have an office for something involving Doha, Qatar, right in the middle of a Mumbai housing complex, but it works perfectly for us. The township is a nice, green area, which is a relief from the crowded streets near the Malad station. We have a small team here, and the atmosphere is very quiet and professional, but in a homey way. Since we are in a residential society, we have to follow the local rules, so we keep things low-key. No big signs or loud noises. We spend our day coordinating with people in the Middle East, so our timing is often a bit different from the standard Indian office hours. We have a few computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of files related to our independent projects. The security guards at the gate know us by now, and we often see our neighbors when we go out for a quick lunch. It’s a very comfortable way to work. We don't have a big board of directors or fancy meetings. It’s just us in a flat, getting the work done and staying in touch with our contacts abroad. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and trees, which is quite peaceful during the rainy season. It feels like a real community and not just a place of work.
