Interfab Electronics (I) Pvt. Ltd. is situated in the MIDC area of Mahape, specifically in Electronics Sadan No. 1. Our unit is C-19 on the ground floor, which makes things easy because we don’t have to deal with elevators when moving heavy gear. We’re right near the GTL building, which is a big landmark around here. Mahape is an industrial zone, so it's all about factories and warehouses. It’s a bit quieter than the city center, but there’s still a lot of movement with trucks and vans. Our workspace is quite practical. We have various machines for fabrication and a lot of workbenches for assembling electronic boards. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always find someone with a soldering iron in hand. The floor is concrete and we have racks reaching up to the ceiling filled with components and metal parts. It gets a bit noisy when all the machines are running at once, but we’re used to it. We have a small area partitioned off for the office work, but most of the action happens on the main floor. The guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just focus on the boards we’re making and try to stay on schedule. It’s a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. We just like being in the MIDC where everyone else is also focused on making things.
