We’re based in Goregaon West, specifically in the Bhanumati Housing Society over in Bangur Nagar. Our office is at M-7/14, which is a bit of a tight squeeze but we make it work for our design business. Being right off the Link Road means we hear the traffic all day, but it also makes it easy for us to get around Mumbai when we need to visit sites. We do a lot of architectural design work here. The office is usually a mess of drawings, material samples, and half-finished sketches. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a magazine cover. It’s a working studio where we spend a lot of time arguing over floor plans and looking at colors. We’ve got a small team and we’ve been in this society for quite some years now. Most of the neighbors know us. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where you use every inch of space you’ve got. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things a bit difficult with leaks or dampness, but we just deal with it. We aren't big on formalities here. We just like to get into the details of the designs and make sure everything is sorted for the projects we’re handling. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when we’re trying to finish up a big set of plans, but we enjoy the process of seeing things come together from this little corner of Goregaon.
