Our office is tucked away in Malad East, right inside the Satsang Bharti building. If you are familiar with the Upper Govind Nagar area, you have probably walked past us a few times near Kailashpuri Road. It is a very busy part of Mumbai, so there is always some kind of noise or activity happening right outside our windows. We have been set up here at A2/2 for quite some time now. It is a very practical space for the kind of work we do. We mostly deal with service work and helping folks out over the phone or through emails. The walk from the local station can be a bit of a stretch when the sun is beating down, but we are all used to it by now. Inside the office, it is mostly just a bunch of desks and some old chairs. We do not have a big reception area with a fancy water fountain. It is just us doing the daily grind and trying to keep up with the workload. Some of our staff members have been here since we first opened, so we all know each other pretty well. We have our tea breaks together in the small corner we have for the kettle and we usually complain about the train delays or the rain. It is a regular job in a regular neighborhood. We do not really go for that high-rise corporate look. We like being on the ground level where things feel real. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but it makes the day go by faster. We just show up and keep the wheels turning.
