Inox Wares is situated within the India Steel Complex, right by Railway Gate Number 4 in Antop Hill, Wadala East. Being so close to the railway gate means you hear the trains going by all day long. It’s an industrial vibe through and through. The complex is a huge place with lots of different units, and we are just one part of it. We deal with steel items, so the place can get a bit dusty and loud. We have a lot of heavy shelving to hold the wares, and there’s usually a truck or two being loaded nearby. It’s a very straightforward environment. We don't have air conditioning in the main storage area, so it gets pretty warm in the summer. We just drink a lot of water and keep at it. The office part is just a partitioned space with some old computers and a lot of logbooks. We spend our time tracking shipments and making sure the counts are right. Antop Hill isn't the most glamorous part of town, but for what we do, it’s exactly where we need to be. We have been at this location for years, and we know the other business owners in the complex. If we need a tool or some help moving something, there’s always someone around to lend a hand. It’s a hard-working kind of place with no room for anything unnecessary or fancy.
