The shop is in Lalbaug, specifically at Tawadi Pawda. It’s not a huge place, but it’s where we do all our work. You’ll find Ink soul tucked away there. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines buzzing and some music playing in the background to keep things moving. We have a couple of chairs that have seen a lot of use. People come in with all sorts of ideas written on scraps of paper or just photos on their phones. We sit down and talk about where the ink should go. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on small details. The floor gets cleaned a dozen times a day because we like to keep things tidy, even if the building outside looks a bit older. Lalbaug is always energetic, especially during festivals, so sometimes it’s hard to hear each other over the noise outside. We just keep our heads down and work on the skin. There’s always a smell of antiseptic and soap in the air. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a big front desk or a receptionist. Usually, whoever isn’t busy with a needle will just talk to you. We've got sketches pinned to the walls and half-empty coffee mugs near the sink. It's a real workspace for people who just want to get some art done without any fuss. It’s just us doing our thing in this corner of the city.
