Industrial Carbons

Our office is on the 3rd floor of the Dahanukar Building, which is located on Kalbadevi Road. If you know that part of Mumbai, you know how packed the streets are with people and carts moving goods back and forth. The building is quite old and has a lot of history to it. We don't have a flashy entrance; you just come up the stairs and find us among the other offices. We deal in industrial carbons, which isn't a very glamorous business, but it's important for a lot of factories. Our rooms are filled with old filing cabinets and wooden desks that have been here for decades. There are always samples of different carbon products sitting around in jars or small boxes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out orders by hand. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, but we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes off the street. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are a small team that has been working in Kalbadevi for a long time. Most of our customers have been buying from us for years, so we know them by name. We don't do any big marketing campaigns or have a fancy mission statement. We just come in every morning, check the mail, and get to work. It’s a quiet, steady life in the middle of a very noisy and busy part of the city.
