Industrial Adhesives Private Limited is on the 1st floor of building No. 18 in the Amrapali Industrial Estate. We are located on Ram Mandir Road in Goregaon West. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how busy the industrial estates can get, especially with the train station nearby. Our floor is often filled with the smell of different glues and chemicals because that is what we do. We have stacks of boxes and drums everywhere, containing various types of adhesives for industrial use. The office part is just a small section partitioned off from the storage area. It’s a loud place sometimes because of the machinery and the movement of goods in the building. We spend our mornings checking the orders that came in and getting the workers to pack everything for dispatch. The afternoon is usually spent on the phone dealing with suppliers or transport companies. It’s a very practical work environment without any frills. We have a few ceiling fans that work hard to keep the air moving. Most of us have been working here for a long time and we know the quirks of the building, like which light switch is a bit loose. It is a no-nonsense type of business where we focus on getting the right adhesive to the right person. We usually wrap up the day as the sun goes down over Goregaon. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and moving.
