Our office is tucked away on the second floor of Plot 81 along Old Nagardas Road. If you know Andheri East, you know how busy it gets around here with all the traffic and people rushing to the station. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the building has definitely seen better days. The stairs are a bit steep, and the lift can be temperamental sometimes, but it gets us where we need to be. Inside, it’s mostly desks, filing cabinets, and the hum of the air conditioner trying to keep the Mumbai humidity at bay. We deal with a lot of technical stuff every day, so there are always diagrams or parts manuals lying around the tables. It’s not one of those modern open-plan offices you see in magazines. It’s a bit cramped, and everyone knows what everyone else is working on. Lunch breaks are usually spent at the small desks or sometimes someone goes down to the street to grab a quick snack from the vendors nearby. The phones ring pretty often, and there’s always someone coming in or out with paperwork. It’s a steady kind of busy. We don’t really do anything flashy here; we just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized amidst the usual chaos of the city.
