If you’re looking for us, we are over on Plot No. 40/B, right near the Masjid in the Amravati area near Nagpur. The Indian Institute Of Fire Engineering is a place where things are very practical and hands-on. We don't spend all day sitting behind desks because fire safety isn't something you can just learn from a book. There’s usually some kind of training or drill going on outside. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, but it wakes up when we have a new batch of students coming in to learn the ropes. We have a lot of equipment lying around—hoses, extinguishers, and all sorts of safety gear. The building is simple and serves its purpose well. We try to keep things straightforward for the students who come from all over Maharashtra. It gets quite warm in Nagpur, so we usually try to get the physical stuff done early in the morning. We aren't here to give fancy speeches about safety; we just want to make sure people know what to do when things go wrong. Most of the instructors have been doing this for a long time and they have the scars to prove it. It’s a no-nonsense environment where we focus on real skills. We like being part of this local spot near the Masjid because it feels like a real community. We just show up, do the training, and help people get certified.
