Indian Express Newspaper at Lalbaug. We are located at Ranveer Sadan, specifically 1/122 on Dr. B.A. Road. Being in Mumbai 400 012 means it’s always loud outside. You hear the buses and the honking all day long. This building has seen a lot of years. Our part of it is usually full of papers and people typing or talking on their phones. We are a newspaper, so there is always something happening. It’s not like those modern glass buildings you see in news movies. It’s a bit old-fashioned here. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the fans make a clicking sound. But we get the pages ready every single day. Lalbaug is a crowded spot, especially during festivals, so getting to work can be a struggle. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the late shifts. There is no special magic to it, just keeping track of stories and making sure the printing happens on time. We’ve got stacks of old papers in the corners and the smell of ink is everywhere. It’s a job that keeps us busy from morning till night. Sometimes the computers act up or the delivery guys are running late, but we just figure it out. It’s just how things work at Ranveer Sadan. We are just part of the neighborhood, doing the news thing and making sure the information gets where it needs to go.
