Indiamco

Indiamco is over in Vakola Village Road in Santacruz East. We are in Room Number 3 of Dube Chawal. If you have ever been to Vakola, you know it's a tight squeeze. The roads are narrow and there is always something going on outside. Being in a chawl means we are right in the middle of everything. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long. It's just a small room where we have our things set up. We have been here for years. It's not a fancy corporate park. It’s just a place in the village where we get our work done. Sometimes the noise of the planes landing at the airport nearby is so loud we have to stop talking for a second or two. We don't mind it much anymore. We are used to the rhythm of the place. We don't have a staff of hundreds. It is just a few of us here. We keep our paperwork organized as best we can in the limited space we have. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that have seen better days. We don't have a website with fancy photos of ourselves. This is just where we are. It’s a practical spot for a small business in Mumbai. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. That is our daily life in Santacruz and we are okay with it.
