Indiamco

Our office is located on the third floor of Choksi House, right on Hughes Road at number 54. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside our windows. Indiamco has been here for years, and we've grown used to the rhythm of the street. Being on the third floor means we have to walk up quite a few stairs if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we'd like. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and desks. We deal with various trading activities, mostly focusing on materials and goods that industries need. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of our time checking prices and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped because we keep so many records. We don't have a big sign outside, so you have to know which building is Choksi House to find us. The light in the afternoon is quite nice through the old windows. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we’re like a small family. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy titles. We just get the work done. If a client comes by, we usually offer them some tea and sit down to discuss things plainly. It’s just how we’ve always done it here on Hughes Road. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and our clients.
