India Belt Co. is located at Kriplani Estate, specifically at unit number two. We are right on Saki Vihar Road in Andheri East, which is a very busy industrial area. You can hear the constant drone of traffic and the sound of machines from the neighboring units all day long. Our space is half-office and half-warehouse. We deal with all sorts of industrial belts. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of rubber and the stacks of black belts piled high on the racks. It is a bit dusty, and the floors are stained from years of moving heavy crates around, but that is just how a working shop looks. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. They know exactly where every size and type of belt is kept, even if the labeling system looks a bit messy to an outsider. We don't spend any time on fancy brochures or social media posts. People find us because they need a specific part for their machinery and someone told them we have it. The estate gets very crowded with loading trucks in the afternoon, so things can get a bit chaotic. We just try to stay organized and get the orders out as fast as we can. It is a basic business, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We don’t pretend to be anything more than a local supplier just working in a crowded part of Mumbai.
