Inc Store

Our place, Inc Store, is at Villa Rodrigues, number 86, down in Sirvodem. It’s a nice part of Navelim, quite different from the busier parts of Goa where all the tourists go. We like it here because it feels like a real neighborhood where people actually know each other's names. The store is part of the villa, so it has a bit of a homey feel to it instead of being like a mall. We don’t have big neon signs or anything like that. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or just happen to walk past while going to the church. We deal with a variety of stock, and it’s always changing depending on what we can get in that week. The rooms are cool even when it’s hot outside because of the old thick walls of the villa. Sometimes we sit out on the porch when it’s quiet and just watch the street or chat with someone passing by. It’s a slow-paced kind of business, which suits us just fine. We don't like to rush things or pressure anyone. If a customer wants to spend twenty minutes looking at one item, that’s okay with us. We have a lot of regular visitors who stop by just to say hello or share some news. It’s a small shop in a quiet village, and we wouldn't want it any other way. We just take it one day at a time here.
