Imperial Fine Art Offset Works

We are located up on the 15th floor of the Lotus Business Park in Byculla. This whole area, the Dalia Industrial Estate, has a lot of history with making things. Imperial Fine Art Offset Works is one of those spots where you can still smell the ink and hear the machines hum as soon as the lift doors open. Being in a service industry like this means there is always a deadline looming. We spend most of our time staring at color proofs and making sure the paper feed doesn't jam up on the old machines. It's not a quiet job. The 15th floor gives us a bit of a view, but usually, we are too busy looking at the print runs to notice. People come to us from all over Byculla and beyond because they need things done right, not just fast. Our desks are usually covered in scraps of paper and old invoices. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we work. We’ve had the same crew for a long time, and we all know exactly which machine has a quirk or needs a bit of extra attention in the morning. Sometimes the elevator in the business park takes forever, which can be annoying when we’re trying to move heavy boxes of paper out. We don’t have a fancy reception area with coffee. We have a workspace where we get our hands dirty and make sure the final product looks like it’s supposed to.
