Our office is tucked away in Ascent Residency, specifically unit A1-202. We are right behind Poonam Nagar in Andheri East. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, as you can imagine. Being in a residential building means we have to be mindful of the neighbors, so we keep things quiet. Il&Fs Property Management & Services Limited has been here for a bit now. It’s a compact space, typical for Mumbai. We have our desks crammed in a bit, but it works for us. The commute to Andheri can be a nightmare with the traffic, so we are always happy once we finally get inside. There’s a small kitchen area where we make coffee and eat lunch. We handle a lot of property stuff, so the phones are usually ringing or we are busy answering emails. The windows look out onto other buildings. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters; it’s just a practical office where we manage our tasks. We don’t have a big team here, just a handful of us who know the routine. Sometimes the elevator in the residency is slow, so we take the stairs. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation. We deal with whatever comes up with the properties and try to stay on top of the list. It’s a solid little spot for the work we do. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the paperwork that piles up on the desks each morning.
