Il Fs Transportation Networks Ltd is based in Bandra East, specifically at Pushpa Park on Daftary Road, number 22. It’s a busy area as you can imagine for this part of the city. We deal with transportation networks, which involves a lot of planning and looking at maps and project reports. The office is usually filled with large rolls of blueprints and stacks of documents. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. There’s a lot of coming and going because people are often out at sites or meetings. When everyone is in, it gets quite crowded. The building itself is a bit older, so the plumbing is sometimes temperamental. We have a small crew here in this branch. We aren't doing anything fancy; it’s mostly just administrative and coordination work for the bigger projects. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors and government offices. Dealing with traffic to get here is the irony of working for a transportation company, but we manage. We’ve been at this Daftary Road spot for quite a bit. There’s a local shop downstairs where we get our snacks. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the daily commute happen right in front of us. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but that’s the reality of keeping things moving on the roads. It’s a steady kind of work.
