Ikara Home (Opc) Private Limited is located over at the Surya Kiran building in Mumbai. The exact spot is 5A on the ground floor. It’s an old-school area on Bhaidas Maganlal. Living and working in Mumbai means space is tight, but we make it work. We started this to focus on home things. It’s a small operation. Being a private limited company makes it sound big, but it’s really just one or two of us. We handle everything from the ground floor office. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people walking by. That’s just part of the charm of being in the 400026 area. We don’t have a massive showroom. Most of our time is spent looking at samples or checking on shipments. It’s busy work. People ask why we picked this spot, but it’s central for us. We just want to get things into people’s homes without making a big fuss about it. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just want to run a decent business. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we catch up eventually. If you walk past the Surya Kiran building, you might see us through the window. We’re usually busy with something or other. It’s just a normal Mumbai business, trying to do its part every day. No fancy decorations, just a place where work happens. We keep the doors open and just stay focused on the home goods we sell.
