We are located down in South Mumbai, which is a part of the city that never really stops. It’s a place where old buildings and new businesses are all packed together. Our office is right in the middle of that. We’ve been operating from here for quite a while, and the atmosphere is always a mix of heritage and modern work life. We handle a lot of different things under the Iffco name, but we don't really go for the high-pressure corporate style. It’s more about just staying on top of the daily requirements. The streets outside are usually jammed with taxis and people, so getting to the office can be a bit of a journey every morning. Once we are inside, it’s just a group of us sitting at our desks, talking through what needs to happen next. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just know what our jobs are and we do them. Sometimes the salt air from the coast makes things feel a bit different, but mostly it's just the usual office routine. We have lunch at the local spots and try to avoid the worst of the monsoon rain when it hits. It’s a simple, hardworking environment. We aren't looking to be the flashiest firm in South Mumbai, just the one that gets its work done properly without making a big fuss about it. We just keep our heads down and stay busy like everyone else.
