Ideal Bags

Ideal Bags is located in the S R A Building, specifically Block No 8 in Vadar Pada. It’s right across from Shah Trades, so if you find them, you’ve found us. Malad East is a busy place, and our corner of it is no different. The ground floor space we have is filled with the sound of sewing machines for most of the day. There are stacks of fabric and rolls of synthetic material piled up in the corners. We make all sorts of bags, from simple ones to more sturdy designs. It’s dusty work, and there’s always thread on the floor no matter how often we sweep it up. The 17th Main and 1st Cross area gets pretty congested with delivery trucks, so getting materials in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve got a small team here, and everyone knows their job. Some people are cutting patterns while others are finishing the stitching on the handles. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where work actually gets done. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some extra lamps near the machines so we can see what we're doing. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby in the 2nd Stage area. It’s honest work, making things that people use every day to carry their groceries or clothes. We keep the doors open when it's hot to get a breeze through.
