This place is over in the ICICI Towers right in the middle of Bandra Kurla Complex. If you have ever been to BKC, you know it is just a sea of glass buildings and lots of people in formal clothes. Our office is one of the big ones. To be honest, it takes a while just to get through the security and up the elevators in the morning. The view from the windows is mostly just other tall buildings and the construction going on nearby. It is a busy place with people always rushing around with their badges on. We spend a lot of our time in meetings or just staring at our screens. The air conditioning is always set a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even in the summer. There are cafeterias inside, but sometimes we walk out just to get some actual sunlight, even if the humidity in Mumbai is hitting hard. It is a very different vibe from a small branch. Everything is bigger here. There are long hallways and so many different departments that you do not even know everyone who works on your floor. We just focus on our own corner of the building and try to get through the workload. It is a lot of walking back and forth between desks. At the end of the shift, the commute back home is the real challenge, especially when you are trying to find an auto or get to the station.
