Our office is located in a very old part of Mumbai on Temkar Street. We are on the 3rd floor of the Macba Building, specifically in Room No. 7 & 8. If you know this area, you know the streets are narrow and always full of people and vendors. The building itself has a lot of history and the stairs are quite steep, so it is a bit of a climb to get up to the third floor every day. The office is split between two rooms, which can be a little bit inconvenient when we need to talk to each other, but we have gotten used to it. The windows look out over the rooftops of the neighborhood, and you can hear the constant hum of the city from below. It is a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, and we have to clean the desks pretty much every morning. We have our computers, a lot of old files, and some basic wooden furniture. It is a very traditional Mumbai workspace, not like the glass towers you see in BKC. We handle a lot of paperwork for the local businesses in the market area. Sometimes the power flutters, but we just wait for it to come back and keep typing. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we have visitors, but it is an honest, hardworking place in the heart of the city.
