Ichem Industries is based right here in Mumbai. If you know this city, you know how things are always moving fast. We are part of that busy world every day. Our place isn't in a shiny skyscraper; it's more of a practical space where we can get things done. We deal with industrial materials and it's a lot of logistics and making sure things are where they need to be. The weather here can be tough, especially when it rains heavy in July, but the work doesn't stop. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking inventory in the back. It gets a bit dusty and loud sometimes because of the location and the nature of what we do. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the orders go out on time and the people who buy from us are satisfied with what they get. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the machines work and where everything is kept. Mumbai is a tough city for business, but we have found our rhythm. We drink a lot of coffee and keep the fans running all day long. It is just a regular group of people working hard to keep the business going. We don't do anything too fancy, we just show up and do the job. It’s what we’ve done for a long time.
