Hygia Herbal Formulation

K.K. Nagar is a pretty nice area, and it isn't too loud compared to the rest of the city. Our place at 972 Dr.A. Lakshmanasamy Salai is easy enough to find. Hygia Herbal Formulation is where we mix all our things up. It is mostly glass jars and bags of dried plants and roots. It smells like a big garden in here most of the time. Sometimes it is a bit more pungent depending on what specific herbs we are working on that day. We follow the old ways of doing things, so we don't have big machines. It is just a lot of hand work and patience. My sister handles the labels because she has much better handwriting than I do. We have been at this for a few years now. The sun comes through the big front window in the afternoon and makes the jars look quite nice on the shelves. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one by the gate. People come in looking for something to help them with one thing or another. We just tell them what we have on the shelf and let them decide. It is a quiet life. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a small herbal place in the local neighborhood. Sometimes the neighbors bring us fruit from their backyards. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after ourselves.
